We offer good quality childcare, ensuring that both parents and children enter an environment that is warm and friendly, with care and education of the highest standard.As a Nursery Nurse, you will assist with all activities associated with the care and development of children, including their general health, welfare, safety, and basic physical development. You will act as a key worker and assist with the organisation, planning, and preparation for meals, activities, rest times, cleaning, and laundry.We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showing personal drive and self-confidence, a strong team player who can work cooperatively with team members of all levels.Essential RequirementsQualified to NNEB, BTEC or NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare Studies, with prior experience of working in a childcare establishmentKnowledge of child welfare issues and understanding the importance of setting goals and objectivesBasic food hygiene and a first aid certificate would be preferable, although not essential as full training can be providedEnthusiasm, flexibility, and ability to work independentlyWelsh language skills are desirable for this position.Coleg Cambria is committed to raising the profile of the Welsh language.The promotion of the Welsh language is an essential part of the work we do.
