Since establishment, Contour has grown in size and expanded our reach to provide services throughout South East Qld and beyond.Our team work on a wide array of infrastructure projects, including residential, commercial and industrial developments and subdivisions, roads and intersections, stormwater drainage, water and sewer, sporting facilities and community infrastructure.Our clients include private developers, local Councils and State Authorities.ABOUT THE POSITIONWe are looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our growing team.The Graduate Civil Engineer will form an integral part of Contours Civil Engineering team focussing on the delivery of high-quality engineering services.The Graduate Civil Engineer will undertake engineering assessments and modelling, prepare detailed engineering reports, and be directly involved in the design and documentation of civil infrastructure. This will include opportunities for involvement in the construction phase of civil works and contributing towards the successful project management and delivery of projects.This position will offer you the chance to work on various infrastructure projects whilst being rewarded with an opportunity to learn, collaborate and be supported by our team of in-house professionals.Contour pride ourselves on giving our engineers the opportunity to work across multiple civil disciplines and across different project types, in order to learn and develop a strong and versatile skillset.This position would suit someone who has recently graduated or with up to 3 years of professional experience.The role will be based in our Maroochydore Head Office or alternatively, can be based from our North Lakes Office, subject to the candidates preference.ABOUT YOUGenuine interest in the work we do, a sharp eye for detail, and a strong desire to grow in your engineering skills.The ability to make thoughtful, well-reasoned decisions that contribute to great project outcomes.Completed tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (Washington Accord accredited, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree or equivalent which is assessed and accepted by Engineers Australia).Previous engineering experience, internship and/or undergraduate experience is highly desirable.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPerform the duties of a Graduate Civil Engineer, including calculations and modelling, contributing to the preparation of design documentation, and supervising the work of designers and drafters.Produce high quality and reliable Engineering Assessments, Reports and supporting documentation, underpinned by your own investigations, calculations and modelling.
