About the roleAs the Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated team of support workers and ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to clients. You will have a unique opportunity to guide Support Workers and Clients through exciting and challenging experiences.What you''ll be doingManage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of a team of support workers.Provide hands-on support to clients with complex needs, including those with physical, intellectual or psychosocial disabilities.Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with clients, their families and other healthcare professionals.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and organisational policies and procedures.Promote a positive and inclusive team culture, fostering professional development and continuous improvement.Liaise with external stakeholders such as government agencies, healthcare providers and community organisations.Monitor and report on team and client outcomes to drive continuous improvement.What we''re looking forExperience (1+ years) in a similar team leader or supervisory role within the aged care or disability support sector.Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, coach and develop a team of support workers.Thorough understanding of the complex needs of individuals with physical, intellectual or psychosocial disabilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families and stakeholders.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and time management skills.Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field.Current First Aid and CPR certification.Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.What we offerAt All Types of Care Queensland, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing and professional growth of our employees.
