Waste Industry Drivers - Sideloader vehicleAdd expected salary to your profile for insights.Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste and recycling services throughout Australia.We are seeking a heavy vehicle driver to operate a Side Arm vehicle (Dual Control) for our Baw Baw domestic kerbside waste contract located at our Warragul depot. This is a Casual role, must be available for weekend work.As a part of our Solo team, you will benefit from:A competitive base hourly rate with good overtime opportunitiesCompany uniform and PPE items providedFull on the job training with experienced operatorsDriving reliable, safe, well maintained vehiclesA professional, team oriented work environmentJob security, with a long standing, family owned and operated waste management CompanyExperience would be preferred but not essential.To be successful in this role you must:Have a HR licence as a minimum;Have a good driving history (a current driving record will be required to be presented at the interview);Be available to start early in the mornings;Be available on weekends;Be reliable, honest and a team player;Be safety conscious and have the ability to adhere to Company OHS policies and best practice;Possess good communications skills;Have good attention to detail;Have a can-do attitude and enthusiasm.This is a long term position with penalty rates paid for all overtime.In accordance with our Companys recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, which includes a drug test.
