We are looking for someone guest-focused and product-oriented, who wants to immerse themselves in the Daylesford Cider brand and share our passion for genuine craft cider with all who visit our venue and purchase our cider. This role requires strong hospitality skills, so your ability to offer personalized customer service across both the cellar-door tasting room and restaurant is essential. Being an integral part of our lunch service, hosting one-on-one cider tastings, organizing group events, and running tours are key components of what we offer. A successful candidate must also be adept at working independently and demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle the administrative aspects of the role. This includes responding to email inquiries, maintaining relationships with wholesale stockists, acquiring new stockists, coordinating distribution, launching new ciders online and in-house, processing online sales, and using our CRM platform. The planning and execution of special events and product launches, as well as liaising with business owners to implement strategic initiatives for growth, are also part of this role. We dont expect you to be a Daylesford Cider expert before you start; all training and product knowledge will be provided in-house. Job Specifications: Daylesford Cider is a small family-run business, and the hiring of this position coincides with the expansion and new objectives of the business. The role is full-time, based on a 5-day workweek, either Wednesday to Sunday or Friday to Tuesday. Weekend work is essential. Hours are from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening shifts. Flexibility is possible for the right candidate, and a 4-day workweek may be considered. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for increased responsibility and advancement to a leadership role as Cellar Door Manager.
