Catering Industries Pty Ltd is a leading provider of contracted hospitality services (catering, cleaning, and laundry) to Australia''s health and aged care, education, government, corporate, and resources sectors. We currently employ over 2000 personnel across various operations in our active market. About the role We are seeking Catering Assistants to join the kitchen team at our client''s aged care facility located in Gosnells, WA. Shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. *The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and provide a current Federal Police Check certificate, or be willing to apply for one.* Skills and experience Aged Care experience is desirable but not necessary. Reliable and punctual. Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines. Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff, and clients. Ability to support chefs and the team in a busy kitchen. Key Responsibilities Providing meal service to elderly residents. Cleaning of kitchen, serveries, and dining room set up. Completing quality assurance documents. Washing dishes and plating meals. Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen. Function set up and clear down. Assisting the Chef and Chef Manager with daily tasks. Food and beverage service.
