Every Patient Matters.Job DescriptionIn this Ward Clerk role, supporting inpatient wards across various Epworth HealthCare sites, you will provide administrative support to ensure efficient ward operations and deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors, medical staff, and unit staff. You will support patients with various illnesses and surgeries within a friendly and dynamic team environment. You will report to the CRU manager.You will make an impact by:Supporting the nursing team with administration managementAssisting the Nurse Unit Manager with team administrationManaging medical recordsHandling patient management system tasks for patient flow (admissions, discharges, etc.)To be successful in this roleYou should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organisational and time management abilities, and preferably previous clerical or administration experience in a hospital setting.You will have:Relevant administrative experience in healthcare (essential)Previous medical administration experienceKnowledge of medical terminologyExperience with patient information systemsWe will review applications as they are received.Additional InformationAt Epworth, we foster a community where patients are at the center of everything we do.
