ASAP start.2:1 or 3:1 roster, FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville available.Ongoing work, long-term opportunity.Initial project - 9 months in Rockhampton, QLD.About Us:Flanco is a growing civil contracting company servicing the mining & resources sector with various ongoing projects nationwide, including divisions in Perth and Goldfields, Western Australia.We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor - Civil Construction to join our team.Our projects typically last from 3 to 12 months, with crews moving between projects to provide variety and ongoing work. Scope of work includes mills, crushers, concrete thickeners, conveyor footings, stockyards, tunnels, power stations, and paste plants.Flanco operates with small to medium-sized crews, ranging from 5 to 30 personnel. We value all-rounders with a strong work ethic, team attitude, and longevity in employment. Candidates who enjoy working alongside and assisting formwork carpenters, concreters, steel fixers, and operators will be highly regarded.About You:You should have knowledge and experience across various construction types, such as earthworks, concreting, formwork, and steel fixing. This is a hands-on role where leading by example is essential.Reporting directly to Company Directors, you will demonstrate leadership, guidance, and a proactive approach to completing projects on time, within budget, and safely.A proven track record in mine infrastructure construction, a team-focused and inclusive approach are essential.Key Responsibilities:Supervise a crew of 20-25 on site.Serve as the main point of contact for the project, responsible for financial, schedule, and safety performance.Ensure resources and support are provided for efficient project execution.Assist in developing and reviewing project budgets.Ensure environmental, tenement, and mining-related approvals are obtained in line with project requirements.Promote safety and environmental management in design and construction.Engage regularly with detailed reporting to executive management.Manage scope changes, identify issues, and lead contingency planning.Possess at least 3 years of supervisory experience in civil construction.Experience in earthworks, formwork, and concreting.Ability to read and interpret plans.Quoting experience is advantageous but not essential.Trade background in formwork carpentry and/or concrete is advantageous.Ability to supervise a multidisciplinary workforce.Must hold a clean National Police Clearance or be able to obtain one.Minimum Manual C Class Driver''s License; HR license preferred but not mandatory.White Card.Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing, with ongoing testing during employment.Apply today with your resume.Due to high application volume, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Note: Rogers Resourcing is placing this advertisement on behalf of our client.
