Overview of role: Join Coliban Water as a Process Operations Engineer and help deliver safe, efficient wastewater treatment for our community.Key Responsibilities:Implement strategies to achieve sewage treatment objectives and related customer service goals.Build and maintain operational knowledge of Coliban Water sites through regular on-site meetings and engagement with operators.Develop and implement management systems related to sewage treatment, identifying business improvements and risk management opportunities.Monitor compliance with regulatory and Essential Services Commission (ESC) standards, including performance analysis and reporting.Optimize, document, and maintain business decision methodologies; contribute to developing risk factors that make consequences, likelihoods, and mitigation strategies tangible.Assist in developing Asset Management System (AMS) plans that deliver value for operational, maintenance, and renewal activities.Provide technical expertise in sewage treatment and water quality.Optimize wastewater processes to improve power and chemical efficiency.About you:Strong knowledge and experience in Operations Engineering for water and/or wastewater treatment, networks, and management.A tertiary degree in engineering, science, or a related field.A valid driver''s license.Excellent customer service, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, especially with contract partners.Skilled in planning and executing strategies to enhance performance, risk management, quality, and customer experience.Proactive, solution-oriented mindset focused on community outcomes and obstacle overcoming.Sound like you?
