This role involves a co-location arrangement, enabling close collaboration with our General Practice colleagues. Our goal is to provide top-quality Emergency care to Wollongong and the greater Illawarra region.Your Skills & Experience:Veterinary degree eligible for registration in NSWAt least 2 years of professional experiencePrevious emergency veterinary experience preferredAbility to remain calm and empathetic in high-pressure situationsExcellent communication skills with colleagues, pet owners, and referring vetsA genuine passion for helping pets and their owners in times of needQualifications:Our ideal casual team member would:Share our values of Kindness, Honesty, Teamwork, and Patient CareHave over 2 years of experience as an emergency or general practice veterinarian (experience in a busy multi-disciplinary hospital is highly regarded)Be available for day, night, and evening shiftsBe comfortable working sole charge and managing routine emergenciesBe eager to learn to manage more complex cases under supervisionThis position offers the chance to work alongside leading clinicians in a professional, challenging, yet enjoyable environment.
