Group Therapist (Occupational Therapist / Social Worker)Delmont Private Hospital is an accredited 88-bed private mental health facility providing treatment to patients across General Acute Adult Psychiatry, Substance Use and Addiction, Young Adults, and Aged Psychiatry. With an extensive Day Program, Outreach, and Consulting Suite, Delmont manages over 90 doctors handling a range of mental health disorders.About The Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and innovative individual with the skills, experience, and flexibility to work in our Inpatient Aged Psychiatry Program. Suitable applicants should have a vision for excellence, a passion for providing quality care, and a keen interest in meeting the complex physical, cognitive, mental health, and spiritual needs of our elderly patients and their families.What we are looking for:You must be a team player with a positive, flexible, and adaptable outlook.Highly developed group therapy skills, with a strong theoretical base in CBT, ACT, Mindfulness.A vision for excellence, interest in program development, and enjoyment in providing quality care to individuals with complex mental health issues.Skills and Experience:Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist (AHPRA) or Social Worker (AASW) with experience or interest in Aged Psychiatry.Ability to complete individual assessments and interventions, as well as develop, deliver, implement, and evaluate group programs.Capability to conduct home visits, attend family meetings, and liaise with relevant stakeholders.Knowledge of and experience with referring to and navigating NDIS and My Aged Care systems.Effective prioritization, problem-solving, and time management skills.A flexible, innovative, empathetic, and compassionate approach.Remuneration:Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per the relevant DelmontEA.
