The team also fosters collaboration and coordination to ensure we remain aligned with best practice and drive continuous improvement.What youll be doingReporting to our Group General Manager Risk and Compliance, this newly created role will:Support the execution and ongoing enhancement of our compliance framework across the Wesfarmers GroupAssist in the preparation of strategic briefings and updates for our Board and executive leadersConduct research to stay ahead of regulatory changes, industry trends and compliance best practicesWork closely with key stakeholders within our businesses to provide practical guidance and support on compliance mattersCollaborate with in-house legal team to review compliance failures and recommend targeted remediation actionsProvide compliance support to Wesfarmers OneDigital, helping to embed risk-aware decision makingDevelop and implement data-driven dashboards and reporting to provide meaningful and actionable insights to senior leadersWhat youll needAt least 8 years compliance management experience within a large, complex organisationDeep understanding of the Australian regulatory landscapeAbility to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business processes and controlsExperience in data analysis and reporting as it relates to compliance metrics and controlsA naturally inquisitive and analytical mind, and strong ability to problem solveWell-developed communication and presentation skillsExceptional interpersonal skills, including an ability to positively influence key stakeholdersAbility to work effectively in a matrix environment with a mindset to find a wayAbility to multi-task, prioritise and meet agreed deadlinesTertiary qualifications in a business related disciplineNice to havesPrevious experience using or implementing GRC systemsExperience in identifying and predicting emerging risks using data analyticsAbout WesfarmersAs one of Australias largest listed companies, were proud of our longstanding contribution to Australians.
