In this role, you''ll: Lead and coordinate the risk management function for your assigned work package, ensuring that all risks are effectively identified, assessed, managed, and communicated. You will provide both strategic and operational support to drive a proactive and consistent risk management approach across the project, with a strong emphasis on facilitating Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) for both cost and schedule. This role will see you: Manage the risk management process for the assigned work package, supporting the identification, analysis, treatment, and ongoing monitoring of risks. Develop, update and maintain the risk register which will facilitate the management of the package risk profile and support teams in the adoption of risk-based decision making, analysis and problem solving wherever possible, including risk identification, assessment and mitigation advice, workshop facilitation, and assistance in the preparation, implementation and review of risk treatment strategies. Facilitate QRA workshops with stakeholders and SMEs to quantify program and cost risk and uncertainties. Prepare risk reporting deliverables including QRA reports, monthly reports, and ad hoc summaries. Promote a risk-aware culture by actively supporting the facilitation of risk workshops, training, and ongoing capability development. Review contractor obligations and engage with them to ensure risks are appropriately understood, controlled, and reflected in the risk register. This role is a temporary opportunity for up to 6 months and will require attendance at the Sydney Metro Head Office in the CBD as well as the site office at St Marys. Minimum Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management or equivalent experience in risk management in the delivery of large, complex and multi-contractual design and construct projects. You bring knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk management. You have excellent stakeholder management skills that allow you to build, develop and maintain strong and cooperative working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that priorities and deadlines are met. Extensive experience in the development, implementation and improvement of risk management systems necessary to achieve successful outcomes for large projects. Experience in a range of Risk Management Information Systems such as ARM will be an advantage. You need strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
