THE ROLE As our Finance Lead, youll play a key role in helping Animals Australia operate efficiently, effectively, and compassionately. This is not your average finance rolethis is about identifying opportunities for improvements, simplifying processes, and helping others feel empowered through better systems. You will: Manage key financial processes, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and compliance obligations and reporting Support the organisation with financial guidance that empowers teams to work smarter, not harder Analyse and build reports that give insights to guide decision-making Drive process improvements and explore automation opportunities to reduce complexity and enhance efficiency Ensure financial governance frameworks are clear, effective, and flexible enough to meet evolving needs Youre driven by the challenge of streamlining systems, cutting through the ''noise, and enabling others to do their best work. With a talent for demystifying complex financial concepts, you translate them into clear, actionable insights for the team.
