The sector employs more than 150,000 people and over 324,000 volunteers in more than 10,000 charities.The team at QCOSS are proud to represent a sector that strives to support Queenslanders and their communities every day.About the role and youReporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the conversion of strategy into actions that ensure QCOSS policy and research work is evidence-based, member-informed, relevant, and impactful.Key to your success will be overseeing the continued high performance of the Research and Policy team.You will demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, effectively engaging with a diverse group of senior internal and external stakeholders. You will also have tertiary qualifications in Law, Public Health, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Social Services or a related field, with extensive experience developing and applying research methodologies and using qualitative and quantitative data in a research or policy development setting.Were looking for a passionate and experienced senior leader, who operates with a solution-focused approach, as well as positivity, influence, and empathy.
