Brief DescriptionAbout The Role:The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a pivotal role within our Senior Executive Team, tasked with defining and driving the digital & brand marketing and communications strategy of the Compare the Market and iSelect Aggregation Business. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer Aggregation Business, the CMO will be instrumental in shaping the organisations digital strategy including the identification, evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies that support the continued growth of the Aggregation Business.This role holds high accountability for the profitability and growth of all business verticals, requiring a leader with exceptional strategic acumen, deep technical expertise, and the ability to translate complex market dynamics into actionable strategies. As a key driver of organisational success, the CMO will ensure the business achieves its ambitious growth objectives while fostering innovation and operational excellence across all marketing and digital functions.What Youll Do:Strategic Leadership and Business GrowthDefine and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that drives long-term growth, profitability, and market leadership.Set ambitious goals for customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue generation across all verticals, aligning with the organisations overarching strategic objectives.Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO Aggregation Business and Senior Executive Team, providing data driven insights and recommendations to influence high-level decision making.Develop and oversee an innovation pipeline to prioritise and implement new initiatives, driving continuous improvement and securing long-term competitive advantages.Technological Innovation and Digital TransformationLeverage advanced technology and digital marketing platforms to enhance operational efficiency, customer engagement, and marketing ROI.Collaborate with the Technology and Product teams to develop and implement cutting edge tools and solutions that align marketing efforts with business objectives.Lead digital transformation initiatives to future-proof the organisation against market disruptions and ensure it remains at the forefront of industry innovation.Performance Marketing and Data AnalyticsOversee all aspects of performance marketing, ensuring campaigns are data driven, measurable, and aligned with revenue objectives.Implement advanced analytics frameworks to measure customer behaviour, optimise the customer journey, and enhance decision-making.Establish robust reporting mechanisms to monitor and communicate key performance metrics to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.Brand Strategy and Market PositioningStrengthen and unify for Compare the Market and iSelect brands, establishing a cohesive identity that resonates with diverse customer segments.Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring marketing strategies are aligned with evolving customer needs and expectations.Lead efforts to maintain and expand market share by identifying new growth opportunities and differentiating the organisation from competitors.Integrated Media and Social StrategyEnhance an integrated media strategy that effectively combines earned media, owned media and paid media to amplify the Aggregation Business message and drive engagement.Oversee the execution of a robust social media and expert strategy and ensure proficiency in managing brand presence and engagement across various social media platforms.What Youll Bring:Not only are you an exceptional strategic thinker who can translate vision into actionable plans, you are highly analytical and data-driven, with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.
