With us you will have the opportunity to build a career in one of the most diverse and dynamic construction services companies in Australia.About the RoleProvide leadership and technical expertise to construction and engineering teams to support the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects across Queensland. From contract award to close-out, youll ensure all project milestones are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, across civil, concrete, electrical, and specialised works.What You Will Do:Provide leadership, technical guidance, and support across project teams, stepping in for the Project Manager when required and ensuring alignment with project objectives and company values.Oversee engineering aspects of project delivery including planning, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and technical documentation to maintain quality and compliance standards.Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations, identifying risks and implementing solutions to meet key deliverables.Lead and support site safety initiatives, ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures, and contribute to a strong safety-first culture.Coordinate stakeholder communication, respond to technical queries, and contribute to reporting, forecasting, and planning to support overall project success.What You Will Bring:Minimum 3-5 years engineering experience in major construction/infrastructure project delivery preferably in the Civil Engineering space.Experience in contracts administration and management including complex variations, EOTs and disputes.Experience in managing construction procurement, scheduling and cost/cash flow management.A recognised degree in engineering discipline or other relevant tertiary qualification.What Will Set You Apart:Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making under pressure.Safety-focused with solid knowledge of Australian Standards and legislation.Proficient in project management and ERP systems including MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Pronto, Aconex, InEight, and Procore.Adaptable team player with excellent communication and time management skills.Why Join McMahon Services?We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued.
