With backing from our investors, including Blackstone, this is just the beginning...Come join the A-Team at AirTrunk, where the cloud meets the ground.A SnapshotWater management is a key pillar of our sustainability commitments, meaning that we design and operate our data centres in a manner that we source and use water sustainably, limit usage in water-stressed areas and ensure water productivity to deliver energy and carbon savings.As the Water Infrastructure Manager, you will work closely with the rest of the Customer Solutions, Design & Innovation team, making your impact in a number of ways:Be the key person driving our water strategy and delivery on the groundDevelop and implement strategies for water supply to our data centres and used water recycling solutionsReview water stress, key stakeholders, and water supply conditions in different markets and develop long-term strategies for sustainable usageGenerate supply options for recycled and alternative water sourcing by working with utilities and solution providers and develop roadmap to water positivity (both onsite and offsite water solutions)Manage and optimise water usage at sites including metering, usage efficiency, cost tracking, and other parameters in cooperation with operations teamsSupport design teams in mapping water demands, usage optimisation, and cooling solution designYour Day to DayEngage with water utilities and authorities, water infrastructure and service companies, water technology OEMs and other relevant partnersPlan and manage water projects (supply connections and upgrades, infrastructure investments, commercial contracts etc)Track and manage water use performance of our data centres for reporting purposesEngage in alternative water focused projects including water recycling and reuse, and optimisation of discharged water reuseEngage with our customers to identify and meet water supply, usage requirements, and for water-specific discussionsCollaborate with our Design, Site Selection, and Operations teams on water needs and water optimisation measuresCreate and present summary reports in Word, PowerPoint and ExcelJoin regular team meetings and progress updatesRequirements:5-10 years of relevant experience e.g. water utilities, water project development, water infrastructure service, water consulting etcStrong understanding of the water supply landscape in several of our Australian and other Asia-Pacific and Japan markets (including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Japan)Good understanding of the Australian water market and water utility or authoritys way of working, and water supply system principles.Strong expertise in various water treatment and reuse technologies such as water treatment/recycling/recovery/captureRelationships and networks in the water industry in the above marketsHigh commercial and business senseStrong analytical thinking and comfortable with data analysis and presentation (especially in PowerPoint and Excel)High level of motivation to learn and grow in the roleThe AirTrunk CultureWorking at AirTrunk is a once in a lifetime opportunity to fast-track your career and amplify your impact.
