1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Direct message the job poster from GadensWe have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to contribute to the efficient running of our office operations and facilitiesRecognised in the AFR BOSS Magazine''s Best Places to Work 2024.Join a modern, market-leading law firm that puts its people first.A truly flexible workplace, plus great people, great culture and great work!About youOur team provides a range of services internally and externally so that our clients work is delivered with accuracy and on-time.To be successful, you will require:Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Time management and organisational skills.Proactive approach and problem-solving ability.Positive, can-do attitude with a continuous improvement focus.Flexible approach to working hours to accommodate events and reception cover.Punctuality and reliability.Your roleAs a Facilities Clerk, you will collaborate with the wider team to deliver services including (but not limited to):FacilitiesSort, distribute and send all incoming and outgoing mail.Attend to hand deliveries within the Sydney CBD.Court filing.Organise maintenance requests and repairs for our premises and equipment, liaise with contractors and coordinate resolutions.Maintain stock levels and presentation of kitchen areas, including unloading dishwashers and regular cleaning of appliances.OperationsAssist with incoming, transferring and outgoing staff movements.Assist with desk moves and new starter set-ups, relocating office equipment and furniture.Order and maintain stationery, general supplies and office equipment.Organise set up and reset of rooms for events and meetings.Report building maintenance requests and issues to building management and coordinate resolutions with assistance from Operations team.Ensure timely payment of invoices as required with assistance from Operations team.Contribute to health and safety practices in conjunction with building management.Maintain procedures for couriers, handling mail, office supplies and consumables.Client ServiceProvide reception relief cover for breaks and absences (as required).General administrative duties and support as required.About GadensGadens is the only law firm to be recognised in AFR BOSS Magazines Best Places to Work 2024, which ranks Australia and New Zealands best workplaces across nine different industries.We are a leading, independent Australian law firm, with a clear vision and strategy for the future.
