You will play a key role in our cloud strategy and transformation initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of AWS-based architectures.Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end architecture of AWS-based cloud solutions tailored for mining operations and enterprise systems. Design cloud frameworks to support data from IoT sensors, heavy equipment, and SCADA systems in near real-time. Architect solutions for predictive maintenance, digital twins, geospatial analytics, and safety compliance platforms. Work with stakeholders across operations, engineering, and IT to understand business goals and translate them into scalable AWS solutions. Define cloud security, compliance, and governance policies in line with mining industry standards. Implement best practices for cost optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery on AWS. Collaborate with DevOps, cybersecurity, and data engineering teams to deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines. Support digital transformation efforts including legacy system modernization and cloud migrations.Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in technology architecture with at least 4 years on AWS Cloud. Proven experience delivering cloud solutions in industrial environments, ideally within mining or natural resources. Deep understanding of AWS services such as IoT Core, Greengrass, Lambda, S3, SageMaker, EC2, RDS, and VPC. Experience with industrial IoT (IIoT), edge computing, data lakes, and analytics platforms. Familiarity with field technologies such as telemetry systems, GPS tracking, and remote monitoring. Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
