About you: We are seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Technician to join our manufacturing and production team in Geelong, Victoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory work, with the ability to perform a variety of tests and analyses to support product development and quality control processes. The Senior Lab Tech will be responsible for conducting analysis, analysing data, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities : - Undertake analysis of wine and other beverages including tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products - Maintaining accurate records of all test results and procedures performed - Ensure data entry practices are completed in a timely and accurate fashion - Preparation of analytical based reports - Preparation of customer samples - Ensuring compliance with safety regulations in the lab environment - At times training junior lab technicians on proper procedures and techniques Skills : - Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques - Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instruments - Ability to interpret test results accurately - Excellent attention to detail - Good communication skills Required Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor''s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field - Minimum of 5 years experience working in a laboratory setting - Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred - Knowledge of quality control processes - Familiarity with ISO standards Important Info - Please attach a cover letter to your application addressing the above criteria. Please note that this job description is for one of two open positions for Senior Laboratory Technicians. We currently operate over two shifts in the Laboratory, 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm. Base salary not inclusive of superannuation or shift loading and allowances.
