We''re looking for a passionate and experienced Level 2 Technician to join our team in South East Queensland. This is a hybrid role for someone who thrives both working remotely and being out in the field, directly supporting our diverse client base. THE ROLE As a Level 2 Technician, you''ll play a key part in the ongoing management, troubleshooting, and improvement of client IT environments. This is not just a helpdesk role - you''ll be hands-on with client infrastructure, networks, and systems, providing onsite and remote support across the region. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support client network infrastructure and system topologies Provide Level 2 technical support (remote and onsite) Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and cloud services Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues Liaise with clients to ensure high-quality service and clear communication Document solutions and update technical documentation regularly What We''re Looking For The key qualities of the perfect candidate include: Minimum 4 years proven experience in a similar Level 2 support role Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals Experience supporting switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other core infrastructure Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to think independently Excellent communication and client service skills Valid driver''s license and own reliable transport (for onsite visits) Based in South East Queensland and able to travel locally as required A desire to help people and make their request for support an enjoyable one Attention to detail and pride in your work Can think on your feet and learn new technologies quickly Well organised with great time management skills Patience with dealing with novice users Experience in a Managed Service environment is highly valued Proven academic ability in the IT industry is desirable A good sense of humour!
