It was established in 1985 and has grown to be one of the top three ophthalmic research institutes in Australia, is internationally recognised as a centre of innovative research into ophthalmology and as a centre of excellence for clinical research, learning and teaching.The Clinical Administration Assistant will provide essential administrative support ensuring smooth operation of clinical service. You will maintain medical records, address incoming enquiries, and use procedural knowledge to manage administrative tasks.Your key responsibilities will be to:address patient enquiries and manage appointments, billing, and transactions.review daily account payments and prepare banking deposits.maintain accurate medical records and support clinical staff with administrative tasks.gather and organize data for reports and liaise with stakeholders to ensure a safe working environment.monitor consumables and contribute to a positive team culture.About youyear 12 certification or a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training experiencedemonstrated a strong customer service focusability to maintain a calm, courteous and professional demeanour at all timesproficient in computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office suitestrong organisational and time management skillsexcellent attention to detail and good numeracy skillsexcellent ability to communicate effectively with patients, medical professionals, and other staffdemonstrated ability to work well in a team and collaborate with othersability to follow directions, multi-task and make decisions related to immediate work flow.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
