This institution provides education from Kindergarten through to Year 12 VCE and thrives on fostering students'' academic growth as well as their broader holistic development.About the JobAn opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre individual to join the Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Manager and indirectly to the Director of Finance, this role will play a central part in supporting the financial operations of the business. Within a broader team of 10 finance professionals, this person will work alongside the Finance Manager to ensure high-quality financial reporting and liaise with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end processes such as accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.Review invoicing processes to ensure accuracy.Prepare year-end accounts, ensuring reporting timeframes are adhered to.Prepare BAS on a monthly basis.Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, reconciling all WIP on external projects.Assist with Board, Finance, and Audit Committee reporting as required.Analyse month-end results with the assistance of the Finance Manager.Monitor budgets against actual performance, providing insights to key stakeholders.Assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting.Liaise with external auditors.Prepare monthly accounts for the investment arm of the organisation.Undertake ad hoc duties as required.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will be an analytical and technically strong individual with a high level of professionalism. The ideal candidate will have an audit background and experience in professional services.
