Sitting in the BAU space but working across multiple squads, youll drive end-to-end automation, partnering closely with an existing high-performing tester.This is a senior hands-on role perfect for someone passionate about continuous improvement, building scalable automation, and exploring new tools like Playwright.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with existing QA to enhance and extend the automation framework.Focus exclusively on automation testing - no manual testing involved.Design, develop, and maintain robust Selenium and Cucumber test scripts.Assist with proof of concept (POC) and migration to Playwright.Execute E2E automation testing across multiple Agile teams.Advocate for best practices in automation and CI/CD integration.Key Requirements (Mandatory):Very established hands-on automation QA experience.Hands-on experience with Playwright a bonus.Strong coding skills (Java preferred) and solid CI/CD exposure.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional environment.Proven experience in designing and scaling automation frameworks.Preferred:Playwright exposure or keen interest in adopting new automation tools.Experience working in BAU and/or multi-team Agile environments.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Whats on OfferOpportunity to take ownership and push automation to the next level.Work in an almost purely automation environment (this is not a mix man/auto role or environment).Exposure to new automation tools and modern tech stacks.Flexible working arrangements based in Melbourne, 50% office/WFH.Rolling 6-month contract with day rate payments and strong extension potential (up to 18 months).Day rate $700 - $800 per day inc super.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesStaffing and RecruitingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at SustainRecruit by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
