Our state government client is looking to hire a Records Digitisation Officer / Digital Controls Technical Officer. The role involves preparing and digitising physical files using specialised scanning devices such as high-speed roller scanners, book scanners, and large flatbed scanners. A foundational level of computer literacy is required as the role is technology-based.Key accountabilitiesProcess items efficiently and accurately to meet service standards.Prepare requested items for return to clients in accordance with service standards.Follow policies, procedures, and guidelines for the storage and movement of records, both internally and at external locations.Respond to enquiries from internal and external clients professionally.Ensure all enquiries, tasks, and issues are documented and handled according to policies.Provide administrative support, respond to enquiries, and perform processing activities accurately and efficiently.Maintain and develop skills and knowledge to deliver quality service.Occasionally pick files and boxes from storage as needed.Hourly rate: $35 + superannuation.Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in similar roles.
