This role combines lead generation, conversation, engagement and closing deals, alongside strategic account management and development, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts. You will dedicate 40% of your efforts to generating new business and 60% to expanding business within existing Crayon accounts, collaborating closely with Key Account Managers and Partner Account Managers.Key responsibilities will includeConducting proactive outreach and lead generation through LinkedIn, cold calls, email campaigns, networking and target listsBuilding relationships in existing accounts, identifying Modern Workplace Services leads, qualifying leads, (incorporating sales methodologies such as BANT) and converting leads into sales opportunitiesGenerating and owning sales proposals for Modern Workplace engagements, while proactively working with Key Account Managers and Partner Account Managers in their accounts to grow coverageEstablishing yourself as the Crayon Australia Modern Workplace Sales champion, responsible for leading all sales opportunities for Crayon customers and partnersUpdating the CRM weekly, ensuring information is up to date while managing and reporting a clear and accurate monthly forecast4+ years of experience in sales/business development including 2+ years experience as a Modern Workplace Sales Specialist with a strong background in selling Modern Workplace solutionsExpert knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, Copilot, Power Platform and other relevant Modern Workplace technologiesExperience in BANT qualification, value selling and solution sellingKnowledge of up-to-date compliance principles, data protection and back-up solutions is an advantageAbout YouYou are customer-focused with an excellence first mindset, able to position the value and benefits of a solution and serviceYou have excellent problem-solving and objection-handling abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experience and clear business outcomesYou possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersWhat''s on Offer?Comprehensive Health Insurance and Income ProtectionParental Leave and Me-Day LeaveHybrid and Remote Working OverseasNovated LeasingEmployee Assistance Program, Study, and Volunteering LeaveAt Crayon, we are deeply committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
