We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join the ICU Liaison team.Key ResponsibilitiesNeed to demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and practiceWorks collaboratively with the multidisciplinary teamProvide leadership and professional expertise to Ballarat staffSupport and works collaboratively with the Clinical Nurse Consultant CReview and assess referred patients with identified complex needsMember of the Medical Emergency / Respond Blue teamPromotes and coordinates effective and safe teamwork of the members of the response teamSupports patients and or family in clinical escalation processes, including the REACH reviews.Provide educationSupport patients with a tracheostomy in the community, including short term use of equipmentPromote clinical escalation in all levels of health care disciplinesPromote cross campus collaborationAct as a clinical role modelSkills And ExperienceBe eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current practicing certificatePost graduate qualification in Critical Care NursingExtensive clinical experience in the critical care setting, preferably a minimum of 5 yearsAnnual ALS and BLS competency maintainedComputer skills for data entry and monitoringPromotes a psychologically safe and just culture environmentAbility to assist the implementation of new models of careAbility to practice independently and interdependentlyHigh level of communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsTo see a full copy of the Position Description please click hereInterested?Click APPLY or if you wish to discuss the role prior to applying, contact Sofia Jasiowski on sofia.jasiowski@gh.org.au or call 0418543831 for a confidential discussion.Applications close on Monday 12th May 2025.If you are currently employed at Grampians Health, please ensure you sign in through the ''Employee Login'' via the external Careers Page or access the Careers Page via the Intranet before applyingThis position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028.
