Star Entertainment by Lancelot Productions, Lda., is looking for an experienced Concert Production Professional (m/w/d) in Australia, to join our dynamic, growing team in the development and production of our film music concerts and cultural projects worldwide.About Star EntertainmentStar Entertainment is an international production company, operating since 1999 in the fields of live entertainment, culture, film, and philanthropy.Concerts: Our concerts range from operas and musicals to film orchestra performances on themes such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and Hans Zimmer. Star Entertainment has hosted performances by:StingBonoFilm: Star began with minor investments in Shaft and Mission Impossible II and has produced films with renowned talents like Richard Curtis and Oscar-winning artists. Vclav Havel honored the film Letter to Anna, which tells the story of the murdered Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya.Cultural Projects: Among our most renowned contributions are:The creation of The Wall Museum in BerlinInstallations with Ai WeiweiPhilanthropy: Star Entertainment has produced the annual Cinema for Peace Gala since 2002, created Sports for Peace with Muhammad Ali and Nelson Mandela, and organized Help Haiti Home for Sean Penn, enabling charitable organizations to raise over $50 million USD.Responsibilities:Coordinate and oversee all pre-production activities for film music orchestra concerts.Secure suitable venues for concerts, negotiating contracts and agreements as needed.Liaise with venue staff and management to ensure smooth logistics and operations.Organize and manage concert schedules, including rehearsals, sound checks, and performances.Manage budgeting and financial aspects of pre-production, including cost estimation and expense tracking.Handle logistics related to equipment, transportation, and accommodation for orchestra members.Troubleshoot any pre-production issues and provide solutions to ensure successful concerts.Requirements:Proven experience in event management, preferably in the entertainment or music industry.Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software.Knowledge of music industry practices and orchestral operations is a plus.Must be ready to go on tour with the orchestra if required.Why Join Us?At Star Entertainment, we celebrate creativity and excellence.
