Job Summary: Responsible for the administration of existing infrastructure implementation and management. Vencora Business Unit Job Description We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with experience in: Systems management, system software, and tools experience with IBM WAS and databases like DB2, Microsoft SQL Server. Experience in systems installation, management, implementation, configuration, and management of relevant technologies. Solid 2 years of commercial experience as a Server Administrator. Experience managing multi-flavored operating systems like Windows and Linux. Experience with DevOps technologies like Salt, Python, etc. Server Administrator Responsibilities Include: Ensure systems are patched and up-to-date. Server administration activities including scripting, job, backup monitoring. Planning and performing server installations. Resolving complex server issues with in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies. Supporting DevOps deployment and management activities. Developing DevOps scripts for automation. Providing technical support for access and environment management. Database backup and recovery in development and production environments. Testing and troubleshooting installations, patches, and database software. Monitoring and tuning system performance. Establishing user access controls and environment maintenance. Collaborating with architecture, development, and infrastructure teams on OS and database standards.
