Cohen & Co is seeking a Senior Associate, Industry Marketing, to support the marketing and business development activities of the firms vertical industry groups. In this role, you will collaborate with team members to implement top-of-funnel lead generation initiatives that produce opportunities for enhanced relationships and business growth. The role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and requires cross-functional teaming with assigned industry Vertical Market Leaders, the Business Development team, and the firmwide Marketing team to drive meaningful results and contribute to the Firms strategic priority of being a Premium Provider to the markets it serves.Work with CMO and Vertical Market Leaders to establish and keep updated growth plan elements including ideal client profile, SWOT analysis, strategic initiatives, KPIs, key competitors, etc.Manage event sponsorship activities, including calendar management, budgeting, pre-event planning, Salesforce campaign tracking, post-event debriefs, and ROI reporting.Oversee associated thought leadership and social media activities, sponsorship marketing needs, and develop industry-relevant statistics for differentiated messaging.Track and manage relationships with Centers of Influence (COI) and lead internal communication efforts within the Vertical.Support firmwide community calls, maintain Intranet pages, and build/maintain industry association relationships.Assist with Vertical-driven client experience initiatives and support content and event managers on thought leadership opportunities such as white papers, webinars, and surveys.Support growth leadership on M&A activities, messaging, and strategic campaigns.Who You AreRequired:Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or communications; or equivalent practical experience.Minimum of 3 years in a marketing or BD support role, preferably in professional services (accounting, law, consulting).Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM (preferably Salesforce) and marketing automation is a plus.Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with attention to detail.Results-oriented, collaborative, with the ability to influence across departments and levels.LocationChicago, IL; Baltimore, MD; Detroit or St. Clair Shores, MI; Akron, Cleveland, Youngstown, OH; Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, PA; Milwaukee, WI.Hybrid work environment from one of the specified offices.About Cohen & CoWe value diversity, inclusion, and a growth-oriented culture.
