The BSA acts as a conduit between the customer community and the software development team, facilitating discussions amongst business stakeholders to gather and confirm functional requirements. Projects may range from minor enhancements to complex systems for insurance quoting and policy management, including production support.The BSA collaborates with IT to deliver software solutions across the product lifecycle, supports agile processes by prioritizing the product backlog, and ensures requirements are met to customer satisfaction. They maintain a solid understanding of AmTrusts mission, values, and standards.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate technical challenges to product owners and help resolve business issues.Provide status updates to team leads, project managers, and delivery managers.Coordinate changes impacting data, workflow, and functionality.Develop requirements engineering policies, procedures, and tools.Lead and participate in requirements validation, workshops, and meetings.Analyze and translate business needs into functional/non-functional specifications.Support technical teams throughout project phases to ensure requirements are met.Engage with stakeholders and technical SMEs to discuss feasibility and solutions.Maintain knowledge of products and participate in design, prototyping, and testing.QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent experience.5+ years in designing and developing complex business systems, preferably in the insurance industry.Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and analysis skills.Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies.Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.Proficient in Word and Excel.This description provides a general overview and is subject to revision by AmTrust. #J-18808-Ljbffr
