Provides, coordinates, and delegates nursing care, managing resources to promote, maintain, and restore health for patients, families, and the community.Formal Education Required Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) Applicants with an Associates degree will be considered but must obtain BSN within three years of employment Graduate of an accredited nursing program by CCNE or ACEN Current Ohio RN license Experience and Training Required PRN RNs: at least one year recent experience in the practice area Weekend option RNs: one year of related RN experience Additional experience or training may be needed for specialty units Other Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications Full range of motion, handling and lifting patients, manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Normal corrected vision and hearing Ability to work under stress and irregular hours Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, hazardous substances, radiation, and other clinical hazards Current BLS certification; ACLS required within six months for certain units Population Specific Competency Additional certifications (e.g., PALS, NIHSS) may be required for specialty areas Ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations respecting their dignity and needs Physical Demands Heavy exertion: 50-100 pounds occasionally, 25-50 pounds frequently, 10-20 pounds continuously Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Salary: $33.00/hr - $52.00/hr. Compensation depends on experience and location. Salary range is exclusive of bonuses or differentials. Offers consider internal equity and market factors.
