Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$110,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yrWe are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst who excels in both manual and automation testing methodologies.We offer a hybrid working model, with in-office days on Mondays and Thursdays and the flexibility to work from home for the rest of the weekWhat the role involves:Testing Strategy and Execution:Write test automation scripts using Java and SeleniumIndependent preparation and execution of test cases and test plansTake ownership of application qualityAnalyse test results including troubleshooting and problem determinationLog issues and confirm resolutionCritically review business requirements and functional specificationsProvide estimates for test planning and executionAssist in determining whether release criteria have been metKeep up to date with test methodologies and utilitiesWhat you need to apply:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Masters degree preferred.Proven experience (5 years) as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java including building a test framework e.g. using TestNG and MavenHands-on experience with Object Oriented ProgrammingExperience with performance testingHands-on experience experience with gitYou are proficient in using Jira and Confluence and have a basic understanding of SQL databasesExperience working on Web Application and API testingFamiliarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Proactive and take ownership for the quality of the product with little supervisionAbility to work within given timeframes and deadlines both at an individual and team levelExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Hands-on experience in Salesforce.Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.Why choose Xref?We prioritise people in our technology and workplace, fostering inspiration, empowerment, and inclusivity.
