You will be encouraged to think innovatively whilst developing and maintaining best practice.Be a part of the next phase of Jetstar growth as we look forward to the future with the introduction of our new fleet of A321 NEOs and XLRs.Supporting the Operations FP&A team, the focus of the Finance Analyst - Operations is on effectively analysing, reporting, and providing insights on costs, identifying opportunities, and influencing outcomes across the operation with particular focus on Fuel, Airport Charges, and Safety. Having a can-do attitude and the flexibility to adapt across different cost functions will be key to success in this role.Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities include:Deliver clear and consistent reporting of financial performance, including monthly resultsMeasure and track cost drivers, operational metrics, and cost-saving initiativesPrepare forecasts and budgetsIdentify risks and opportunities to enable mitigationProvide financial support on new cost-saving initiatives, with ongoing focus on unit cost improvement, working closely with managementSupport business cases and contract reviews with detailed financial modelling and analysisTo succeed in this role, you will need:Professional accounting qualification or current study (e.g., CA / CPA)At least 1 year of experience providing insightful analysis through management accounting or business partneringExposure to a complex and fast-paced corporate environmentStrong computer skills (advanced Excel, PowerPoint)Applications close: Tuesday, 6 May 2025About JetstarThe Jetstar Group has airlines in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Japan.
