Manager, Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF)Join to apply for the Manager, Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) role at Grant Thornton Australia.About the RoleGrant Thornton Australia is seeking a Manager with SMSF experience to join our Perth-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and evolving national team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of approximately 200 SMSFs, working closely with Partners, Directors, and the national SMSF team.Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive solutions to their challenges.Oversee and review SMSF compliance work, including financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements.Liaise with external auditors, the ATO, and ASIC.Provide compliance advice and escalate issues as needed.Assist in preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) on superannuation planning.Lead and mentor a team of Associates and Senior Associates, fostering their growth.Skills & ExperienceSignificant experience in professional accounting within the Australian SMSF sector.Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.Strong analytical and financial data interpretation skills.Intermediate to advanced IT skills, including knowledge of Class Super.Qualifications (Desirable)Relevant qualifications in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.We welcome applications from candidates who may not meet every requirement but have unique skills to contribute.Why Join Us?Enjoy flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a vibrant work environment committed to diversity and inclusion.
