$109,944 p/a + super + salary packaging optionsAt Murray PHN, five organisational values - Leadership, Collaboration, Respect, Accountability, and Innovation - drive the way we do business, the way we influence the health system and the way we interact with each other and our stakeholders.As a not-for-profit organisation, and one of six Primary Health Networks (PHNs) in Victoria and 31 across Australia, we work with rural and regional services and national agencies to not only support health reform, but to develop locally relevant models of care, workforce solutions and to pilot innovative programs.Whether it''s supporting individuals with chronic conditions, enhancing mental health services, or reducing avoidable hospital stays, our focus is commissioning primary healthcare services that are accessible, high-quality, culturally responsive, sustainable, and importantly meet population needs and prevent disease.The OpportunityThis newly created role within our Planning and Strategic Projects team is pivotal to the identification, collection and monitoring of population health indicators that inform PHN program planning.Key AccountabilitiesHealth Planning:Oversee population health planning, including needs assessments and workforce planning initiatives.Data Stewardship:Maintain and manage health data assets, ensuring compliance with data governance frameworks.Policy Analysis:Develop insightful policy papers and support funding proposals to address emerging health issues.Stakeholder Engagement:Facilitate community consultations and integrate feedback into health planning processes.Partnerships & Knowledge Transfer:Foster regional collaborations and produce reports to inform and influence health system improvements.About YouMurray PHN is seeking a dedicated person to lead and inspire impactful change. Our ideal candidate is a high-level communicator who values cross-functional knowledge sharing and collaboration as a means of delivering the best health outcomes for our community.Key CapabilitiesTertiary qualification in health, social services or public policy related field of study with a minimum 5 years experience in a similar position.Record of achievement in coordinating data analysis and interpretation for population health and health service planning.Demonstrated experience in complex health program contexts and application of change management methodologies.Experience leading collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships with a record of cross-functional knowledge sharing.Connection to the Murray PHN catchment and alignment with our vision and values.To view the position description please visit to ApplyPlease submit a resume and cover letter detailing your suitability for the role.Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
