This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of Australian employment law and best practices while working with employment law experts for regions where FYI operates. You will be responsible for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, learning and development, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.The position is Part-Time, exact hours will be negotiated with candidate.Your Responsibilities:Acquisition and OnboardingExpected time expenditure: 40%Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management for roles across all locations.Continually enhance existing onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly and efficiently.Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure timely and high-quality candidate selection.Policy and ComplianceExpected time expenditure: 30%Working with FYIs Leadership team and regional law firms, develop, implement, and maintain FYIs HR policies and procedures that comply with all relevant employment laws and regulations across all regions where FYI operates.Ensure all HR activities are conducted in accordance with legal requirements and internal policies, directly impacting the compliance of compulsory procedures.Stay up to date on changes in employment legislation and best practices.Manage HR systems and records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality, in line with relevant SLAs.Work with the FYI Executives to develop and implement a comprehensive People & Culture plan that supports the company''s growth and objectives across all regions FYI operates.Contribute to the overall business plan by providing insights and recommendations on people-related matters.Culture and EngagementExpected time expenditure: 17.5%Champion and promote the company''s values and culture.Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and retention.Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.Organize company-wide events and initiatives to foster a strong sense of community.Employee Relations and Performance ManagementExpected time expenditure: 5%Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing advice and guidance to employees and managers.Manage and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner, ensuring compliance of compulsory procedures.Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.Execute and enhance a fair and effective performance management process that drives employee growth and aligns individual goals with company objectives.Provide guidance and support to managers on performance feedback, coaching, and development planning.Ensure timely completion of performance reviews, contributing to compliance of compulsory procedures.Benefits, Learning and DevelopmentExpected time expenditure: 5%Manage the company''s compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with local market practices.Conduct regular reviews of compensation and benefits to ensure competitiveness and compliance.Work with FYIs leadership team to identify training and development needs across the organization and design and deliver relevant programs to enhance employee skills and performance.Manage relationships with external training providers as needed.Track and report on the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives.Reporting and AnalyticsExpected time expenditure: 2.5%Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards to track key performance indicators, including compliance of compulsory procedures and compliance of SLAs across all activities.Monitor key People & Culture metrics, including those related to compliance of compulsory procedures and compliance of SLAs.Provide regular reports to senior management on HR activities and trends.Use data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in HR practices.Experiencenot all required but is highly regardedBachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR generalist experience, with specific experience in an HR Manager role.Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices is essential.Experience supporting global teams is highly desirable.Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Key Performance IndicatorsKey Performance Indicators will be reviewed as a leading indicator of performance for this role.
