Additionally, you will be responsible for managing legal risk and providing commercial, practical and strategic advice to key stakeholders at all levels of seniority.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Assisting with managing corporate and litigated matters and instructing external legal counsel.Offering specialist and strategic legal advice to stakeholders on a wide range of matters.Assisting with the interpretation of insurance contracts and applicable legislation.Actively identifying systematic risks and trends to limit of mitigate the risk of litigation.Providing advisory services with respect to the Errors & Omissions critical incidents and corporate risk.Providing E&O trend analysis and suggested solutions and training for Division Heads for improvement.Ensuring solid commercial management of dispute and litigation matters and legal briefs from the business with assistance from external legal panels of firms (where necessary), including appropriate escalation and reporting within the business.Providing legal support with the enforcement of employee restraints and the management of restraint matters in conjunction with external legal firms.RequirementsYou will have 8+ years'' PAE in litigation and dispute resolution.Additionally, you will have previous experience working in the insurance or financial services industry.ContactFor further information, please contact Andrew Rees on +61 404 835 853 or arees@montgomeryadvisory.com.au.To take your application one step further, register your details via the ''Register Now'' button on our websiteto be added directly onto our database.
