Due to an internal promotion, were seeking a commercially savvy, data-driven Chief Marketing Officer to build on our strong foundations.Why this role is importantThis isnt your typical corporate CMO position its a hands-on leadership role where quick decisions are the norm, experimentation is welcomed, and the impact of your work is clear. Youll report directly to the CEO, lead a diverse marketing team, and collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Analytics to enhance acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.Your remit will be to ensure that Compare Clubs marketing ecosystem including performance, lifecycle, brand, and data works seamlessly together to achieve sustainable, profitable growth.Take Charge Of Performance Marketing And AcquisitionLead and optimise a significant media budget across Google, Meta, SEO, TV, OOH, Radio, affiliates, and more.Promote a culture of testing and learning across digital and offline channels.Drive favorable unit economics while increasing lead volume in competitive markets.Enhance retention and lifecycleDevelop CRM and lifecycle strategies to maximize lifetime value and minimize churn.Oversee cross-sell, upsell, and reactivation campaigns, focusing on personalisation and automation.Create high-performance customer journeys through email, SMS, push notifications, direct mail, and retargeting.Build a remarkable brandDefine and evolve Compare Clubs brand platform to foster trust and differentiation.Ensure brand initiatives support performance objectives.Leverage MMM, MTA, and advanced attribution models to maximize spending efficiency.Lead a high-performance teamGuide seasoned Heads of Performance, Brand, Lifecycle, and Creative.Foster capability, accountability, and alignment within the broader marketing team.Enhance internal media buying and creative execution while nurturing key partnerships with platforms and agencies.What youll bringExperience leading large-scale acquisition and brand initiatives (preferably low to mid 8 figures).Proven expertise in performance marketing, CRM/lifecycle management, and brand leadership.Advanced skills in marketing analytics MMM, MTA, CAC vs LTV modeling.A commercial mindset linking marketing metrics to revenue and profit.Thriving in fast-paced, high-growth, data-driven environments.Ability to inspire and lead senior marketing leaders and cross-functional teams.Whats in it for youA genuine executive role where you can make a real impact.Flexible hybrid working arrangements.Join a high-caliber, flat-structure team that values low ego.Competitive compensation with strong bonus potential.The opportunity to scale an iconic Australian brand focused on speed, innovation, and results.Why Join Us?At Compare Club, we value passion, creativity, and results-driven work.
