Senior Core Ops Associate - Investment OperationsBe among the first 25 applicants two weeks ago.I can succeed as a Senior Investment Operations Associate-Core Ops at Capital Group.As a Senior Investment Operations Associate-Core Ops on the Complex Instruments Accounting Team (CIA), you will work independently on standardized/recurring assignments and under the supervision of senior staff on complex projects, analyses, and tasks. You will support investment vehicles servicing the Institutional, Retail, and other functions supporting research requirements of complex income instruments.I am the person Capital Group is looking for.You possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with curiosity to investigate income discrepancies and issues of moderate to high complexity, transactional in nature, and/or previously encountered. You identify root causes and develop strategic options and recommendations to resolve issues.You demonstrate strong business acumen to understand and anticipate business needs, with knowledge and experience in fixed income investment products (e.g., interest, amortization, distressed securities, loans, derivatives). You can perform general ledger entry analysis and assess company or industry news.You possess in-depth knowledge and expertise across multiple processing systems and the overall business cycle.You focus on the control environment, ensuring adherence to processes and procedures while seeking opportunities to strengthen controls and mitigate risk.You are self-driven, managing workload independently to achieve outcomes, with excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.You have strong collaboration skills, working within and across teams and stakeholder groups to assess and resolve fixed income issues of varying complexity.You are proactive, detail-oriented, a critical thinker, and committed to quality, comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, demanding environment.You demonstrate strong computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel) and can quickly learn new knowledge.Hampton Roads Base Salary Range: $62,642 - $100,227.In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an annual performance bonus, Capitals profitability bonus, and a retirement plan with a 15% contribution.
