This role will suit a lawyer with a strong commercial property and retail leasing background. Part-time candidates will also be considered.The Legal Counsel will work as part of a team of seven in-house lawyers to support 7-Elevens Retail Operations area. The Legal team also advises on general commercial contracts, trade practices issues, franchising, privacy, intellectual property, technology, and litigation. The Legal team uses a business partnering approach to support the business in implementing strategic and commercial initiatives while minimizing legal risk.We need you toDraft, review, and negotiate general commercial contracts, agreements for lease, retail and commercial leases, licenses, and all related negotiations and legal documents for our national lease portfolio.Provide legal advice relating to general commercial contracts, property transactions, and obligations under existing contracts to support 7-Elevens strategy and business activities.
