About TRACQS We have an exciting opportunity for you to work with a leading Community Development Program (CDP) provider that delivers pre and post-employment and training services to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians across the Western Tablelands of Far North Queensland. The Opportunity The Regional Support Officer will work closely with the Program Manager and General Manager, as well as, relevant internal and external stakeholders to provide effective support, engagement, training and coordination to fulfil CDP requirements in accordance with the CDP Head Agreement. About the Role, You will: Support in the development of operational strategies, policies and procedures. Monitor employment and training activities linked the approved project plans. Provide coaching and ongoing support to all operational staff to maximise outcomes including new staff inductions and ensure staff are trained to use barrier and intervention management tools. Provide monthly reporting which includes recommendations and solutions on any barriers on the CDP program as they arise. Ensure effective communication, connection, and follow-up with participants and hosts/employers is maintained for sustaining participation and outcomes. Monitor and assist with any WH&S requirements including incident management and correct actions. The Regional Support Officer position is located in Kuranda, QLD with the opportunity to have a hybrid/remote working arrangement. What sets you apart from the rest? Understanding and experience of employment services programs (preferably Community Development Program (CDP) In depth knowledge of NIAA and Department Service Guarantees and Code of Conduct. Ability to provide solutions and recommendations to effectively resolve complaints and conflict. Understanding of applicable HR & WH&S legislative requirements e.g. WH&S, privacy, discrimination, Social Security Act etc. Ability to manage time, set priorities and to achieve outcomes in a demanding environment. Ability to maintain accurate records (electronic and paper-based) and to understand and implement contractual requirements and guidelines.
