Design & Build are working with a long-standing national client to identify a Scheduler on a contract basis for a Power Station project. The contract starts ASAP and runs until the end of the year. It involves DIDO initially until the shutdown in September, after which on-site presence is required full-time for 2 months. What''s On Offer $100+ hourly rate (experience dependent) Accommodation & LAHA for days/weeks away Company vehicle Long-term contract with potential for extension Job Responsibilities As a Project Scheduler, you''ll ensure the smooth operation of our power plant project by creating and maintaining detailed schedules across all project phases, including construction, commissioning, maintenance, and outages. Daily tasks include: Building and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. Coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams. Monitoring progress and flagging delays or risks. Planning and scheduling plant outages, working closely with operations and maintenance. Conducting schedule reviews and providing updates. Analyzing impacts of changes and re-baselining as needed. Preparing reports and visuals for stakeholders. About You 5+ years'' experience as a Scheduler/Planner. Experience with power plants and outages is highly desirable. Strong capabilities in P6 & MS Project. Availability for 6 days a week from September to December.
