The Role:Our client is seeking a doctor interested in a career in Medicine who is preparing for the College examinations. This role involves working with rotating registrars from the Austin Hospital in Melbourne. Teaching, both in formal settings and on ward rounds and clinics, is a key aspect of the Bendigo approach. The successful applicant will be responsible for approximately 15-20 acute medical patients, with daily input from a consultant. Junior staff assisting will include two HMOs on a roster. There will be minimal night shifts, but weekend ward and MET duties are scheduled as per the roster alongside other Medical Registrars. The position offers a wide range of opportunities, including daily consultant ward rounds and attendance at specialist outpatient clinics (such as Endocrinology, Renal, Respiratory, Gastroenterology), which will be rostered.
