As the APS6 Senior Analyst, Intelligence, you''ll play a vital role in Australia''s anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) regulator. We''re seeking talented analysts who specialise in applying analytical tradecraft and research acumen to generate high-impact assessments and briefings on matter of strategic and operational significance to Australia''s financial crime environment. You''ll be working closely with key partners in law enforcement and the National Intelligence Community Agencies, shaping actionable intelligence strategies, and engaging in intelligence diplomacy with foreign counterparts. Step into a pivotal role as Senior Analyst in Risk Assessments, where you''ll steer the development of risk assessments focused on ML/TF. You''ll be providing critical insights to AUSTRAC, its partners and the industry about the risks associated with certain financial services sectors or financial products.Trends & InsightsWe explore the financial crime environment, exploit multi-source data and expose trends, patterns and anomalous activity to produce intelligence insights and targeting opportunities for stakeholders. Join as a Senior Analyst in Trends & Insights, where you''ll be at the forefront of uncovering strategic insights into money laundering methods and channels. You''ll analyse trends, produce detailed intelligence reports, and utilise advanced data interrogation tools to inform AUSTRAC''s strategies and actions.Operational & TacticalWe proactively engage with partners to develop, enhance and drive collaborative action to effectively target high risk criminal activity and identify emerging threats to our financial system. As a Senior Analyst in Operational & Tactical intelligence, you''ll work closely with law enforcement and industry partners to produce actionable intelligence that directly supports investigations and joint agency taskforces.
