The principal areas of responsibility will be ensuring full compliance with Australian Standards and NATA requirements for sampling and testing of concrete mixes and entering test results into multi-faceted systems.Concrete Field TesterWe have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional Concrete Field Tester to join our team at Southport Concrete Plant, situated at the Gold Coast. We also produce a wide range of sustainable and recycled construction materials for civil construction and infrastructure projects.We are driven by excellence and high performance and together we will shape Australia''s construction materials industry building a legacy for generations to come.About The RoleSampling and testing fresh concrete as per Australian standards on construction sites.Collecting concrete test samples (concrete in moulds, approx. 5kg) from construction sites - typically from 3 - 5 sites @ dayAssisting Lab technicians and carrying out compression and other strength tests on cured concrete specimens in our Skygate/Southport LaboratoryWorking safely and accuratelyReporting to Laboratory SupervisorBackground And Experience RequiredQueensland driver''s licencePrevious qualification in Laboratory Techniques/signatory will be highly regardedPerform tests in accordance with Australian StandardsPhysically fit (Able to carry 15 litres of concrete for each test.
