Clinical Director, Cancer and Ambulatory SupportPart-time PermanentEnjoy city living in Canberra with excellent work conditions at a tertiary hospital.Competitive pay, flexible working arrangements, and salary packaging options with full fringe benefits.Generous leave entitlements, including up to 4 weeks training/education leave and 5 weeks annual leave (Pro Rata Part Time).Relocation expense reimbursement for interstate candidates on permanent appointments (conditions apply).About the Role:Position OverviewThe Division of Cancer and Ambulatory Support (CAS) offers specialist services within a comprehensive cancer centre, operating from a purpose-built Cancer Centre at Canberra Hospital. Facilities include radiation oncology, day therapy units for haematology and oncology, dedicated clinics, and upcoming research and wellbeing centres.The role is for a Senior Specialist in a relevant field, appointed permanently to a clinical department. The Clinical Director will serve as the clinical leader of the Division, with responsibilities including clinical, managerial, and leadership duties, negotiated with the Executive Director of CAS.The Clinical Director plays a key leadership role within the Division and CHS, working collaboratively with the CAS executive team to achieve strategic goals and deliver high-quality, safe patient care, supported by training, research, and governance.Research collaborations are maintained with ANU, University of Canberra, and the Australian Catholic University. The hospital supports postgraduate teaching, with extensive library resources. There is potential for a conjoint academic position at ANU, subject to performance reviews, with no additional remuneration.Prior to commencement, successful candidates must meet credentialing requirements and comply with vaccination policies.
