Fixed term 2-year contract Full-time position Location: Ultimo, Sydney Base salary $123K plus 15.4% ABC nominated super About the Role ABC Content Sales takes Australias best stories to audiences around the world. We are looking for a Sales Manager to optimise the licensing of the ABC Content Sales catalogue in multiple territories and platforms, driving revenue growth and profitability against set sales targets. The Job You will: Set and achieve annual revenue targets for assigned clients, platforms, and territories (UK, Europe and International Formats). Work with Manager: Content Sales and territory managers to grow new and existing client revenue. Negotiate deals for maximum ABC return, oversee contracting, invoicing, and license management. Implement strategies to maximise sales from both back catalogue and new releases. Manage key client relationships and develop sales, inventory, and communication plans to exceed targets. Provide sales forecasts to support investment cases. Build strong relationships across all ABC Commercial business units. Identify market trends and platform strategies to support targeted sales efforts. Position Description: 50014765 SALES MANAGER CONTENT SALES.pdf About You You will have: Minimum 7 years sales experience Extensive experience in Content Sales and Distribution across multiple platforms and territories (including UK, Europe, and International Formats). Strong background in international content sales Existing client relationships in UK, Europe and International Formats In-depth knowledge of the international program sales market and key business drivers. Proven track record in account management, meeting sales targets, budget management, and strategic planning. Advanced pitching, negotiation, and selling skills focused on achieving results. Strong understanding of rights and clearance issues in international content sales. Ability to work independently and prioritise to meet required deadlines.
