Important: The successful candidate must be available to work any shift between 07:00>19:00, seven days a week. In most cases, one to two weeks notice will be provided in advance.Day to day you will:Handle emergency control from the Security Control Room and manage traffic.Maintain OHS-related spreadsheets and reports (incident hazards, training registers, induction records, etc.).Ensure site inductions are completed before authorising entry.Uphold Security policies and procedures under the supervision of the Security Manager.Manage mail (receive, sort, deliver) and handle suspect or unidentifiable items.Build rapport and provide support to Nine Management, employees and visitorsWork rights: Please note to apply for this role you must already have the right to lawfully work and live in Australia.QualificationsWhat we would like to see:Demonstrated experience as a Security OfficerStrong customer service skillsSecurity Guard Level 3Powers of arrest, crowd control and First AidKnowledge of OHS standards and requirementsAwareness of site-specific policies, procedures and challengesAdditional InformationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:We''re committed to a safe, respectful and inclusive Nine.
